business.JOB SUMMARYThe Specimen Collection Specialist must comply
with Drug-Free Workplace requirements regarding alcohol and drug
use and the USPO or USPSO requirements. The Requirements for the
position are to be responsible for urine collection from drug
offenders and completing all required forms, records and reports
any type of behavior from donors during the collection process. The
Specimen collection Specialist makes sure to Identify and corrects
chain of custody documents, corrects, and resolves discrepancies,
verifies accuracy and completeness of drug testing and control
forms.RESPONSIBILITIESReasonable accommodations may be made to

functions of the job.Completes all required forms. Records and
reports any significant behavior from female donor during
collection process.Comply with all MHS/USPO and USPSO program
rules, policies and procedures including HIPAA standardsEnsures
restroom and work area is always clean and sanitary.Always
maintains confidentiality.Identifies and corrects chain of custody
documents, corrects, and resolves discrepancies, verifies accuracy
and completeness of drug testing and control forms.Verifies
specimen bottles are properly sealed and shipped to laboratory per
regulations. Explains collection process to donors.Displays regular
and reliable attendance. Reports to and departs from work on time,
as scheduled, and accurately reflects all time on
timecard.Demonstrates adequate care and responsibility for
equipment. Reports and/or repairs missing or damaged equipment and
supplies.Successfully functions as a team member.Follows
administrative chain of command.Other relevant duties as
assignedComply with all MHS and program rules, policies and
procedures including HIPAA standards.QUALIFICATIONSHigh School
diploma or GED.Bilingual in English and Spanish requiredPrevious
experience with urine collection.Proficient user of Microsoft
Office Suite and EHR software.Ability to problem solve and react
appropriately to emergency situations.Ability to work independently
and effectively collaborate with a team.PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTSThe
