Our growing medical device company is seeking an experienced Accounts Payable Specialist to handle all aspects of their accounts payable functions The Accounts Payable Specialist will partner with, and support the CFO in order to fulfill all accounts payable obligations. In addition, this opportunity will provide exposure to basic HR responsibilities and provide growth/learning opportunities to get involved with staff level G/L accounting through internal training. The Accounts Payable Specialist will be responsible for, but not limited to, the following: Oversee the daily accounts payable function with support of the Accounting Manager Execute the A/P process of invoice entry, G/L coding, payment scheduling, invoice accuracy and verification, and check/ACH/wire preparation Partner with and handle vendor communications to facilitate smooth business partnerships and relationships Retrieve foreign currency exchange rates and apply for international disbursements Provide A/P related reporting and forecasting to management Assist with Human Resources related responsibilities when needed The qualified Accounts Payable Specialist will possess the following: 3 years of accounts payable experience dealing with checks/ACH/wires Bachelor’s Degree in accounting or finance preferred Prior experience with foreign currency and international payments preferred Proactive mindset with a desire to learn and grow accounting and general professional skills Excellent communication skills and customer service mindset For additional details, candidates should submit their resume in MS Word format to teddy.kang@talentedsg.com.
