ASHA-accredited university, active Speech-Language Pathology
Assistant (SLPA) license and minimum 1 years speech-language
pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these
qualifications will not be considered. A Speech Language Pathology
Assistant (SLPA) position is available for the 2026 school year
with assignments at two elementary schools serving PreK through 5th
grade students. The role involves delivering speech and language
support services across these campuses located in the Baltimore
area of Maryland. This is a full-time, on-site contract position
starting February 16, 2026, and concluding May 29, 2026, with the
potential to extend into the Extended School Year (ESY) program in
July. Key Details: Work Schedule: 37.5 hours per week; Magnolia
Elementary Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday; Prospect Mill Elementary
Monday, Wednesday Location: Baltimore area, MD (Magnolia
Elementary, Joppatowne; Prospect Mill Elementary, Bel Air) Student
Population: Elementary (PreK to 5th Grade) Contract Duration:
2/16/26 5/29/26, possible extension through ESY (4 weeks in July
2026) Licensure: Active Maryland professional license required
Compliance: Must meet House Bill 486 requirements including
district background check, fingerprinting, and employment history
review Qualifications: Certification or licensure as a Speech
Language Pathology Assistant in Maryland Experience working with
elementary school-aged children preferred Ability to manage
caseloads effectively and collaborate with school staff Strong
communication and organizational skills Compliance with all
district and state regulatory requirements Responsibilities:
Provide speech and language support following individual education
plans (IEPs) Conduct screenings, assessments, and therapy sessions
Maintain accurate records and documentation of student progress
Collaborate with speech-language pathologists, educators, and
families to support student outcomes Participate in required
meetings and trainings The role requires candidates who can
complete a prescreen interview to assess suitability. Flexibility
in scheduling interviews during business hours is offered.
