Spectrum Test EngineerGeneral Skills

- Collect, archive, and organize test data

- Participate in meetings, program working groups, and technical
interchange meetings to provide expertise regarding EMS system
requirements, system(s) integration, connectivity, and
testability
- Perform technical and requirements analysis to determine the
system interoperability and testability.
- Generate test documentation including Test Plans, Test Reports,
and Test Incident Reports (TIR).
- Develop test procedures for EMS systems to evaluate system
functionality, performance, and interoperability in accordance with
the program requirements.
- Operate spectrum analyzer and conduct EMS measurements.
- Develop EMS data capture, analysis, and presentation
methodology to support characterizing a baseline spectrum activity
and identifying changes or anomalous behavior.
- Develop test analysis, and reporting methodology to evaluate
EMS detectability at various Emissions Control (EMCON) levels.
- Develop test, analysis, and reporting methodology to evaluate
EMS sensing capability of non-MAGTF emitters.
- Develop and use software tools in order to support automated
EMS data collection, analysis, event logging, and reporting.
Requirements:
Education & Certifications
- Bachelor's degree in a related field preferred
- Active Secret Clearance Experience Requirements
- Experience and knowledge of EMS system requirements,
integration, connectivity, and testability
- Testing experience for EMS systems; experience developing test
procedures and generating test documentation (test plans, test
reports, test incident reports (TIR)), and archiving and organizing
test data
- (3) Years of experience with electromagnetic compatibility
testing
