Job Description Job Description Job Title: Assembler Job Description We are seeking a dedicated Assembler to perform duties in line with our Quality Management System, Safety Management System, and company requirements. The role involves assembling sub-assemblies, installing accessory components and materials. The Assembler will inspect products to meet quality, engineering, and customer standards and will operate hand tools. This is a manufacturing company that manufactures insulations panels for walk in freezers. Responsibilities Assemble sub-assemblies and install accessory components and materials. Wire basic electrical connections according to applicable diagrams. Inspect products to ensure conformity with quality, engineering, and customer requirements. Operate hand tools, including electrical and pneumatic power tools. Load, unload, lift, and move materials and products using lifting equipment when available. Read and interpret job orders, diagrams, and blueprints to select and position materials and components. Complete and maintain all associated electronic processes and paperwork, including checklists, stamping, blueprints, bar coding, and shipping materials. Maintain departmental housekeeping and adhere to 5S standards. Complete additional tasks and projects as needed by the department. Essential Skills Experience with hand and power tools. Ability to read a measuring tape. Understanding of blueprints is advantageous. Additional Skills & Qualifications Familiarity with mechanical assembly and production processes. Work Environment The role is based in a manufacturing environment, operating on the first shift from 5:00 AM to 1:45 PM, including a 45-minute lunch break. The dress code requires full-length pants made of sturdy material without holes, along with steel-toed boots (not provided). Safety glasses, ear plugs, and safety sleeves will be provided for your protection. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of San Dimas, CA. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $19.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
