are we looking for? The Technician I - Safety is responsible for
supporting engineers for testing and equipment/lab maintenance.
This position will travel at least 25% of the time. Salary &
Benefits Information The base wage or salary range for this
position is $24-$30/hour. Individual compensation packages are
based on a variety of factors unique to each candidate including
skill set, experience, qualifications, and other job-related

more. What you’ll do: Set up tests, test equipment and test
apparatus. Prepare test samples. Perform basic analysis of test
data and routine calculations. Interact with customers in a
professional manner including appearance and attitude Diligent
safety practices, have knowledge of OSHA standards, and use of
safety equipment as required by management Work closely with
engineers and take directions to complete projects within certain
policies and procedures Daily cleanup and maintenance of labs,
testing equipment, samples, and organize all tools and materials
Attend mandatory training sessions on new products, installation
methodology, and safety. Troubleshoot, test, repair, and service
technical equipment. Obtaining and recording test data in
accordance with standards Performing basic analysis of test data
and routine calculations Perform other work as required. This

Requirements & Qualifications: High School Diploma or GED
equivalent Entry Level - No experience required Computer skills: MS
Word, MS Excel, MS Teams, MS Outlook Strong communication skills,
in both verbal and written formats Ability to work in fast-paced,
multi-tasking environment with shifting priorities and demanding
deadlines Strong hands-on skills. Ability to use basic shop
equipment and various hand tools to build up the setup with wood or
hardware Ability to review, understand, and convey technical
information in an effective manner Ability to apply common-sense
understanding to carry out simple one or two step instructions Must
be detailed-oriented and able to effectively prioritize and
organize workload, with efficient time management Ability to
communicate and interact effectively in verbal written and
presentation formats Customer-focused and quality-driven Ability to
lift up to 50lbs Be aware of, and adhere to, safety practices and
policies to ensure your own safety, as well as the safety of others
who may be affected by your actions at work Able to travel at least
25% of the time Valid driver’s license and reliable driving record
Preferred Requirements & Qualifications: Trade school certification
or Associates degree in Electrical and/or mechanical field NRTL
safety certification experience Experience with PCB soldering,
electrical wiring and/or plumbing/HVAC system 1 years of relatable
experience in the certification industry
