The Commercial Sales Manager is responsible for driving sales by
using a consultative sales approach as a SME (Subject Matter
Expert) in all products. The Commercial Sales Manager is
responsible for the development and execution of the overall sales
strategy, while leveraging our product offering and services. The
position oversees the commercial sales department which includes
outside sales reps, sales and estimating, and architectural
planning. The Commercial Sales Manager provides the leadership,
management and vision necessary to maintain and increase revenue
goals and operational efficiency. The position accomplishes this
through a respectful, constructive and energetic style, guided by
the objectives of the company. Accountable for achieving sales

Manage day-to-day commercial sales team transactions, policies,
controls and procedures.
Collaborate with senior management team on commercial sales goals
and business strategy.
Forecast and develop annual sales goals.
Conduct sales analysis including market trends, supply and demand,
economic indicators and competitors (secret shoppers).
Regularly monitor and report on sales goals and specific problems,
opportunities and trends.
Run weekly sales reports and track sales trends and productivity to
meet sales objectives and overall company transaction volume
Maintain in-depth awareness
Become a product expert in all products sold by the company.
Maintain constant communication with sales team, including current
Troubleshoot customer complaints.
Coordinate and facilitate all sales meetings.
Create incentives to motivate sales staff.
Ensure sales team achieve sales objectives and quotas.
Manage the daily, weekly and monthly activities of all outside
commercial sales representatives.
Implement overall strategy of retaining, recapturing and acquiring
new commercial sales customers.
Review and approval all quotes prior to dispatch.
Manage website inquiries.
Maintain and update material cost reports, by region.
Produce new sales/business concepts to ensure company remains
Oversee monthly reconciliation of open/pending order with outsides
commercial sales staff.
Conduct monthly meetings with General Manager and Sr Management to
provide updates on Commercial Sales team performance.
Enhance job knowledge by participating in educational
opportunities; reading professional publications; maintaining
personal networks, participating in professional organizations.
Identify ways to streamline operations and ways to improve
Work closely with General Manager on hiring, training and support
for all sales team
Bachelor's degree in Business or related field preferred.
Prior experience using an ERP system.
7+ years experience as outside sales representative or client
relationship management role
5+ years of experience managing a sales team.
Proficient use of Microsoft Office software (Excel, Word,
Tech savvy with proficient use of Microsoft products including
