We believe in employing the best people and are currently looking to hire a qualified *SERVICE MANAGER *to our growing team!*JOB DESCRIPTION: * The Service Manager is responsible for effectively and efficiently running the service department through supervision and leadership. They are responsible for hiring, training, and coaching all team members of the department following manufacturers and the company's policies and standards. They are held accountable for driving growth of revenue, technical productivity, quality assurance, and promoting a high level of customer satisfaction. *GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES: ** Monitor, analyze, and report department's daily, monthly, and annual KPIs and industry trends
* Enhance and develop policies, procedures, and service systems to meet KPI goals for the department
* Responsible for recruitment, hiring, terminations, coaching, performance management, and maintenance of staff levels to ensure department productivity
* Responsible for assigning and directing work and appraising performance with the team
* Address customer inquiries accordingly
* Other duties as required *REQUIREMENTS: ** Previous dealership/service department experience - previous Kia experience an asset
* Previous experience managing and leading a large team
* Ability to effectively communicate both verbally and in writing
* Able to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
