Aerospace is seeking a highly motivated professional to join as a
Contracts Manager. The ideal candidate is an energetic
self-starter, skilled in contract negotiations with the ability to
successfully implement legal strategy in support of our business
interests. We value the ability to focus on contract details by
implementing excellent organizational skills. A key opportunity in
this role, will be to oversee projects of team members to ensure a
quality work output, meeting the business objectives. Additional
key opportunities will be to influence stakeholders and improve
department processes. The position is working in a Hybrid capacity
at our Chula Vista, CA facility. Relocation assistance available.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Responsible for the drafting, generation, interpretation and
management of global and highly complex proposals and contract
documents, to ensure these documents properly reflect business
objectives
- Reviews work of other team members to ensure output is of
quality and in accordance with business objectives
- Advises management and organization of contractual rights and
obligations to protect and mitigate the organization's legal and
business interests
- Manages multiple medium- to large-sized projects
- Advises the organization on legal issues concerning contract
matters
- Provides legal advice on warranty and contract
administration
- Prepares legal documentation for legal and contract
negotiations and relationships
- Maintains historical contract database and recordsBasic
Qualifications:
- Typically requires a University Degree and minimum 8 years
prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field
and minimum 5 years of experience or in absence of a degree, 12
years of relevant experience
- Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship now
or in the future. RTX will not offer sponsorship for this
position.
- Experience with contract drafting and negotiations
- Experience developing negotiation strategies and
negotiationsPreferred Qualifications:
- Juris Doctorate degree or paralegal

196,000 USD; however, Raytheon Technologies considers several
factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the
