Job Description:
The Software Architect Manager role will lead and drive the
Software Architect team to solve complex systems problems and
seamlessly transition between strategic thinking and detailed
implementation.Duties/Responsibilities
- Provide technical leadership to development teams, focusing on
how components within the supported areas integrate and
interact.
- Collaborate with Software Architects to develop long-term
technical strategies for the product.
- Lead the vision for the supported areas, ensuring alignment
with business goals and technical excellence.
- Understand the technical implications of business requirements
and guide teams in creating Feature Development Plans (FDP).
- Design and implement scalable, reliable, and secure software
solutions that push the boundaries of innovation, aligned with both
technical and business strategies.
- Guide system architecture decisions by evaluating and adopting
emerging technologies, researching cutting-edge solutions, and
setting new standards for coding, testing, and deployment in
R&D contexts.
- Partner with Product Managers, Engineering Managers, and
cross-functional teams to translate business goals into innovative
technical solutions.
- Provide technical mentorship to engineers, fostering
professional growth and elevating team capabilities. Serve as a
thought leader and technical authority in complex problem-solving
and decision-making.
- Focus on streamlining development workflows to foster rapid
iteration and innovation, reducing bottlenecks and improving
feedback loops while maintaining high standards of quality and
reliability.
- Collaborate on roadmap prioritization, focusing on high-impact
work that delivers value and supports the organization's strategic
objectives.SUPERVISOR RESPONSIBILITY:Yes, supervise a team of 2 to
5 Software Engineers.Qualifications
- 10+ years of experience in software engineering management,
product innovation, and the architecture and implementation of
large-scale, complex systems.
- Proven track record in code security, secure boot, code scans,
Risk Management RMF and NIST preferable.
- Demonstrated ability to navigate and resolve challenges in
performance, reliability, scalability, and security at scale.
- Ability to translate innovative concepts into clear, actionable
plans, effectively communicating with both technical teams and
non-technical stakeholders.

- Total Estimated Compensation $160,000 to $185,000 / year
