Required Skills and Qualifications

• Customer service experience
  
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required within 90 days of employment.
  Preferred Skills and Qualifications
  
  • Associates Degree
    
  • Minimum of two (2) years hospital or similar experience
    BLS certification from the American Heart Association will be required within 90 days of employment.
    
    The Materials Specialist provides for the organization, maintenance, operation, and purchase of equipment and supplies. Assures the monitoring of the environment. Works independently and corroboratively as a liaison between the CV Cath Lab and Materials Management and is responsible for the purchase, organization, maintenance and technical planning of all supplies and equipment. Ensures the equipment supply needs are met.
    
    The Cath Lab consists of two labs and works with Physicians to do a variety of procedures including STEMI and Electrophysiology studies and peripheral studies, Non-Invasive Cardiology consists of Echo, EKG and Nurse lead stress testing. Cardiac Rehab is a growing area for out-patient services.
