Redwood Terrace in Escondido, CA, one of HumanGood's life plan communities named among the "Best Nursing Homes of 2023-2024" by U.S. News & World Report, is hiring a Part-time -RN MDS Coordinator. - -
The RN MDS Coordinator develops effective care plans and drives results with payments and reimbursements; develop, complete, and transmit resident assessments (MDS) in accordance with current Federal and State standards; apply comprehensive knowledge of MDS processes by performing utilization reviews, using knowledge of Quality Improvement and Care Planning; ensure Medicare A and B recipients have the appropriate length of stay and receive the appropriate care; and verify the billing aspects of Medicare are thoroughly documented and reimbursed as appropriate.
** Part-time: 8 hrs. on Saturdays; 8 hrs. on Sundays - ** $42- $53/hour (Depending on Experience)
To be successful in the role, you would have:

• 
  
• Current RN license for the state in which applying
  
• Current/Prior nursing experience: senior care, skilled nursing, post-acute, or sub-acute care
  
• Current/Prior MDS experience
  
• MDS certification preferred
  
• Bachelor's of Science in Nursing preferred
