Job Description:
A company is looking for a Clinical Review Coordinator to
support patient needs through clinical review processes.
Key Responsibilities
Conducts timely prior authorization reviews to evaluate medical
necessity based on clinical criteria
Reviews patient documentation and requests additional information
to support clinical decisions
Assists in creating clinical support packets and documents appeals
for authorization denials
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in a healthcare field or 3 years of relevant
experience
Preferred experience with specialty infusion needs and
challenges
Competent in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
Experience with denial support, clinical reviews, and appeals
Ability to work effectively under stress and manage time
efficiently
