Job Description:
Job Description Job Description Master's degree in
Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1 year of
Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do
not meet these qualifications will not be considered. An
opportunity is available for a skilled Speech-Language Pathologist
(SLP) to provide essential speech therapy services within an
elementary school setting in Long Beach, CA. This contract position
offers a chance to work with a diverse caseload of students,
ranging from Transitional Kindergarten (TK) through 8th grade.
Responsibilities: Deliver individualized speech-language therapy to
approximately 50 students with varying communication disorders
Conduct evaluations and develop treatment plans aligned with
students educational goals Collaborate with teachers, families, and
school staff to support student progress Maintain thorough
documentation and compliance with school and state regulations
Participate in team meetings and contribute to an inclusive
learning environment Qualifications: Certificate of Clinical
Competence (CCC) or Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) status as an SLP
Prior experience in a school setting highly preferred Strong
knowledge of speech and language development in children TK-8
Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills
Ability to manage a caseload effectively while maintaining
student-centered therapy approaches Position Details: Location:
Long Beach, CA Schedule: Full-time, 5 days per week, 35 hours per
week Age Group Served: TK through 8th grade students Contract
Duration: Current school year through June 3, 2026, with potential
extension for the next school year starting August 17, 2026 This
role requires a compassionate and dedicated professional ready to
make a meaningful impact on students communication skills in a

Compensation for this position ranges from $45.53 to $72.53.
