Join us and make a difference in National Security!The Automated Test Framework Software Engineer will support the framework of automated tests on multiple environments for a large complex enterprise system. Our agile development teams follow the Behavior-Driven Development (BDD) pattern, where developers are responsible for implementing robust testing leveraging DevOps automation and, where appropriate, the use of test automation commercial tools. Activities supporting this framework include developing, improving and maintaining the BDD framework.This role can work at any of the following locations: Annapolis Junction, MD; Alexandria, VA; Aurora, CO; or San Diego, CA (Campus Point).Responsibilities Include:

• Designing, developing, and maintaining automated test suites and frameworks to ensure the quality and reliability of software applications.
• Troubleshooting and debugging automated tests to identify root causes of failures and ensure test reliability.
• Collaborating with development teams to identify testable requirements.
• Implementing automated testing solutions and ensuring software testability.
• Writing and executing automated test scripts using various testing tools and frameworks.
• Maintaining clear and concise documentation.
• Tracking issues, managing VMs, and using CI/CD tools.
• Participating in daily stand-ups, Sprint Planning, Program Increment (PI) Planning, and other agile activities.Basic Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field with at least 8 years of relevant experience, or additional experience in lieu of degree.
  • Demonstrated experience with Java, including development of unit tests.
  • Experience working with Spring libraries, development IDEs, and CI/CD frameworks.
  • Experience with source control and configuration management tools.
  • Experience working in Windows and/or Linux environments and managing VMs.
  • Some short-duration travel may be required to support quarterly PI Planning sessions in MD if not located at MD.
  • Clearance Required: Must have TS/SCI with Polygraph up front.Preferred Qualifications:
    • Experience with integration test frameworks.
    • Basic Windows administration experience.
    • Experience with task automation tools like PowerShell.
    • Knowledge of knowledge management systems.
    • Experience with Behavior Driven Development (BDD).
