Job Description Job Description Personal Injury Litigation Attorney Personal Injury Litigation Attorney Position Overview We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Personal Injury Litigation Attorney to join our legal team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in personal injury cases, specifically catastrophic and severe injuries, we work on both plaintiff and defense cases. This role involves advocating for clients who have suffered severe injuries due to accidents, ensuring their rights are protected and that they receive the compensation they deserve. Key Responsibilities - Represent clients in personal injury litigation cases including truck and airplane accidents, wrongful death, and motor vehicle accidents (MVA). - Develop comprehensive legal strategies for each case, including conducting thorough research and analysis of relevant laws and regulations. - Prepare and file legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and discovery requests. - Negotiate settlements with insurance companies and opposing counsel on behalf of clients. - Advocate for clients in court during trial proceedings, presenting evidence and arguments effectively. - Maintain accurate case files and documentation, ensuring all deadlines are met and reporting to clients regularly on case progress. - Collaborate with support staff and other attorneys to ensure the best outcomes for clients. Qualifications - Jurisdictional license to practice law (Juris Doctor degree from an accredited law school). - A minimum of 5 years of experience in personal injury litigation, specifically catastrophic and severe injuries - Proven track record of successfully handling catastrophic injury cases and wrongful death claims. - Experience with truck and airplane accident cases is highly desirable. - Strong litigation skills, including trial experience and negotiation abilities. - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with clients, witnesses, and legal professionals.
