GradImages is currently searching for outgoing and attentive people to assist their photographers during graduation events in Chula Vista, CA and the surrounding area. Are you a dependable person who is looking for a way to make some extra money? We may have the perfect opportunity for you! We are looking for assistants to work with our photographers during graduation events in your area. Events take place in the Spring (April June) and Winter graduation seasons (November - December) each year. Graduation Assistants are paid $50 - $60 per graduation ceremony worked. Graduation ceremonies typically last 3-4 hours (+/-) (this equals $12.50 - $20+ per hour). Pay is determined by the event location and experience. Photography experience is always welcome though not required. For Stellar employees who are always on time (early), very helpful and have a great attitude with the team and clients, and always dressed appropriately, Raises are given based on performance, attitude, availability and reliability. The dress code is very strict! Graduation Assistants should possess and be able to wear the following attire (DARK COLORS ARE PREFERRED): - Women: Dark dress pants, solid/neutral conservative dress shirt and coordinating dress shoes (no heels, most women wear flats) - Men: Dark dress pants, Solid/Neutral colored button down shirt with a tie and coordinating dress shoes All assistants should maintain a professional personal appearance and give consideration to neatness and cleanliness. The main responsibilities for assistants include but are not limited to: - Assisting the photographers by guiding the participants during onsite photography of graduation events - Distributing and collecting graduate name cards and contact information, tracking graduate names as theyre called during graduation - Assisting with set-up and break down of event equipment Requirements: - Reliable transportation to and from event locations - Assistants must be able to stand for the duration of the events indoor or outdoor conditions - Ability to lift up to 30 lbs - Assistants should be very comfortable working with and speaking with large groups of people - Assistants must present themselves maturely and professionally at all times - Assistants must have an outgoing personality, efficient work style and a customer service attitude - Assistants must be able to adhere to a schedule, arrive on time for events and stay for the duration of events. This is a temporary, part-time, event based job. There may be an opportunity to work multiple events depending on events scheduled in your area.
