Job Description:

Scripps Health Administrative Services supports our five hospitals and 19 outpatient facilities, which treat half a million patients annually through 2,600 affiliated physicians. Performs job functions to support environmental care: (Patient Care area cleaning, Non-Patient Care area cleaning, Linen Service, Waste Removal, Sharps container removal, Meeting/Event set-up/breakdown, and Infection Control/Sanitation utilizing technical, interpersonal and critical thinking skills under the guidance and support of a supervisor. Follows established policies and practices to ensure compliance with the Joint Commission, Title XXII and other applicable regulatory requirements. Displays and practices a work style that reflects the mission, philosophy, and goals of the organization. Required Education/Experience/Specialized Skills: Must be able to speak, read, and write English. Required Certification/Registration:Preferred Education/Experience/Specialized Skills/Certification: 6 months Housekeeping experience in Health Care or Hospitality.
