Liberty Healthcare Corporation is hiring for a full-time
Training Specialist position.
In this key role, you will help our organization's employees
obtain and maintain required credentials, knowledge and training in
the best practice of residential care of people who have
intellectual and developmental disabilities.
You will work closely with Liberty Healthcare's human resources
manager and program directors to help ensure our direct support
professionals and other staff are well-trained, professionally
competent, and in compliance with all regulatory requirements.
Specific responsibilities will include:
* Assisting in the development and implementation of
standardized, competency-based workshops and trainings that are
based on best practices in behavioral health, IDD, co-occurring
disorders, and a person-centered approach * Delivering new hire
orientation as well as initial and ongoing staff training
in-person, via webinars, and through Liberty's online learning
platform * Ensuring all staff are compliant with mandated
organizational, contractual and regulatory training requirements *

* Minimum of three years of professional experience in the
residential care of people who have intellectual and developmental
disabilities and co-occurring mental illness * Professional
experience in training - and superior presentation skills as well
