Status Regular Part Time10-20 hours per weekNon-Exempt$65 per hourRESPONSIBILITIES: Under the supervision of the Clinical Director, the Clinical Supervisor shall be responsible for ensuring that their team provides s in offering services that utilize a trauma-informed approach, and which align with the agency's mission and philosophy. The Clinical Supervisor is responsible to facilitate the development and implementation of team goals and objectives, and will help to ensure that the goals and objectives are met. The Clinical Supervisor also serves as a link to the other teams and to the Clinical Director. He/she is responsible for staff and student development and evaluation in conjunction with the Clinical Director. The Clinical Supervisor facilitates team and individual problem solving and recognizes achievements. The Clinical Supervisor performs roles and duties of a supervisor for the team.DUTIES:Management of the team and project services including development, planning, implementation and evaluation.Supervision of staff and students performing team & project services.Linkage development and maintenance with schools, law enforcement, other agencies, family members etc. for effective service implementation.Overseeing individual, group and family counseling, wraparound and other services as they relate to program & team goals and objectives. These include the goals & objectives from the Family Well Being Assessment, as agreed upon with the clientConduct periodic trainings to staff, students and program teams.Supervision & maintenance of case files.Management of program data collection, statistics, reports to DirectorCoordinate with other SBCS Program Directors.Attendance & active participation in team meetings, department meetings, agency meetings & other committee meetings as assigned.Must be able to work at least two evenings per week and as needed on weekends.Other duties as assigned by the Clinical Director. RequirementsQUALIFICATIONS: Current license as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, or a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, plus 2 years post licensure experience required. Completion of Clinical Supervision CEUs as regulated by the California Board of Behavioral Sciences. Minimum 4 years' experience in child, youth & family services and/or community development field. Experience preferred in community based organizations. Ability to work with a diverse cultural population.PHYSICAL DEMANDS: Stand: Remaining on one's feet in an upright position. Walking: Moving about on foot. Lifting: Raising or lowering an object from one level to another (includes upward pulling) 25-50 lbs Carrying: Transporting an object, usually holding it in the hands or arms, or on the shoulder Pushing: Exerting force upon an object so that the object moves away from the force. Pulling: Exerting force upon an object so that the object moves toward the force (includes jerking) Climbing: Ascending or descending stairs, using feet and legs or hands and arms. Body agility is emphasized Balancing: Maintaining body equilibrium to prevent falling when walking, standing, crouching. Stooping: Bending body downward and forward by bending spine at the waist, requiring full use of the lower extremities and back muscles. Handling: Seizing, holding, grasping, turning, or otherwise working with hand or hands. Fingers are involved only to the extent that they are an extension of the hand. Finger Movement: Picking, pinching, or otherwise working primarily with fingers rather than with the whole hand or arm as in handling Talking: Expressing or exchanging ideas by means of the spoken word.
