Summary: To be responsible for maintaining all common areas, in a clean and attractive condition. Turn apartments between residents.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

Cleaning of Rental Center, Recreation Building, pool area, exercise facility, rest rooms, Jacuzzi area, including trash removal, vacuuming, dusting, and cleaning of exterior and interior windows. Cleaning of laundry rooms including trash removal, sweeping, mopping, wipe down of machines and other surfaces, and interiors and exteriors of windows.

Patrol of grounds each morning for removal of litter.

Cleaning of entryways and stairwells, removing leaves, debris, and cobwebs from corners and recesses of each building.

Sweeping and/or blowing off all sidewalks and parking areas, including dumpster areas-moving garbage bins to garbage pickup area on designated days.

Perform adequate watering as required on a daily basis.

Exterior painting, exterior repair and pool and spa maintenance.

Interior apartment cleaning and interior apartment painting to turn units for new move-ins.

Maintain property to LPR standards.

Education/Experience: Minimum 1 year of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Language Ability: Ability to read and interpret documents such as invoices, specification sheets, safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.

Math Ability: Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.

Reasoning Ability: Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.

While performing the duties of this job the employee is frequently required perform physical labor and to talk or hear. The employee is occasionally required to lift up to 50 pounds. The vision requirements include: close vision and ability to adjust focus.
