You will directly support and provide financial analysis, forecasts and recommendations to both ASG Finance and ASG Supply Chain leadership. Your other interactions will include Strategic Sourcing Team, Global Operations Finance, Program Finance, and Compliance.**Position is currently working remotely. When circumstances permit preferred work location is Chula Vista, CA. Could be with a mix or on-site and remote presence or, candidate can be remote with regular travel.**Primary ResponsibilitiesWorking closely with Commodity focals to support contract negotiations.This includes supporting the Ariba Case process while ensuring ASG/SC sourcing strategies are aligned and new business is competitively bid.Cross functional collaboration with Supply Chain, Operations Finance and Value Streams to drive Purchase Price Planning alignment across ASG.Supports Cost Reduction (CR) reporting.Role is responsible for driving CR continued process improvements by focusing particularly on our CR Model and data integrity.Preparing monthly financial management presentation and communicating the variances to leadership team and SCF team.Ensure proper financial controls for inventory own by UTAS but physically located at the Suppliers.Work with Supply Chain Buyers to support the annual inventory audit process.Resolve inventory posting issues in SAP that affects ship unit cost measurement.Managing open invoices (non-payment) and no goods receipts processes for the assigned commodity. Providing support to Supply Chain team to resolve issues.Providing detail analysis of new part cost under new Supplier and/or new purchase agreement.Perform financial analysis at a part cost level under negotiation to determine cost savings or headwinds.Evaluating EPA (Escalation price adjustment) model to ensure purchase order price is set in accordance to terms and agreement.Drive process improvements and reporting efficiencies; monitor progress on projects.Perform ad hoc analysis as needed.Basic QualificationsBachelor's degree and 2 years of prior relevant experience ORIn absence of a degree, 6 years of relevant experience is requiredMust be a U.S. Person/Permanent Resident "Green Card" holderMS Office suite experience: Excel-VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables.
