Job Summary:

The Forklift Operator is responsible for operating a forklift to move, locate, relocate, stack, and count materials in a safe and efficient manner. They must ensure the accurate and timely delivery of materials to designated locations within the warehouse, production facility, or job site. The Forklift Operator is also required to maintain the equipment, follow safety protocols, and contribute to a clean and organized work environment.

Responsibilities:

1. Operate forklift to load, unload, and transport materials, following company procedures and safety guidelines.

2. Efficiently stack and store materials in designated areas, ensuring proper handling and placement to avoid damage.

3. Perform routine inspections of forklift equipment to identify and report any maintenance issues or safety hazards.

4. Accurately maintain records of all incoming and outgoing materials, including inventory counts and location updates.

5. Collaborate with team members to efficiently coordinate material handling tasks and ensure timely completion.

6. Follow safety procedures and wear required personal protective equipment to maintain a safe working environment.

7. Assist in maintaining a clean and organized warehouse, production facility, or job site.

8. Perform loading and unloading duties using manual or powered equipment, as required.

9. Participate in training sessions and workshops to improve skills and stay up-to-date with industry best practices.

10. Perform other related duties as assigned by management.

Work Schedule : Mon-Fri 8am-4:30pm

Pay rate: 18-20/hr depends on experience
