This role ensures integration, optimization, and performance of enterprise systems to support evolving business needs. The director will lead a cross-functional team and collaborate with business units, vendors, and IT stakeholders to drive modernization and operational excellence.ResponsibilitiesStrategic Leadership - 35%
    • Define and lead the SAP and cloud strategy in alignment with enterprise objectives.
    • Provide vision and direction to cross-functional teams supporting SAP and cloud solutions.
    • Conduct market research and competitive analysis.
    • Oversee architecture decisions and modernization roadmaps.Vendor and Partner Management - 25%
      • Manage key vendor relationships and evaluate service delivery and performance.
      • Lead contract negotiations, renewals, and cost optimization strategies.
      • Ensure partners comply with security and compliance standards.Operations and Service Management - 20%
        • Ensure stability, availability, and performance of SAP and cloud platforms.
        • Drive continuous improvement in incident, change, and release management practices.
        • Collaborate with support teams to maintain high service levels.Financial Planning and Governance - 15%
          • Develop and manage budgets for SAP and cloud initiatives.
          • Monitor expenditures and ensure alignment with approved investments.
          • Implement governance models for demand management and prioritization.Team Development and Collaboration - 5%
            • Mentor team members and build capability in enterprise application support and delivery.
            • Foster a culture of innovation, accountability, and continuous learning.Supervision of Others: This will have direct reports.QualificationsEducation/Experience -
              • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field
              • 10+ years of experience in enterprise systems, including SAP and cloud.
              • Experience leading large-scale transformation initiativesSkills/Knowledge/Abilities -
                • Deep expertise in SAP and cloud ecosystems (e.g., S/4HANA, AWS)
                • Strong leadership and strategic planning capabilities
                • Knowledge of IT service management and enterprise architecture
                • Excellent vendor negotiation and contract management skills
                • Effective communication and stakeholder engagement abilitiesPhysical Requirements:Working Conditions:80% of time is spent in the office environment, utilizing computers (frequent use of various Microsoft software/programs), phones, and general office equipment. 20% of time is spent outside of the office visiting vendors' and/or internal customers' sites in additional to attending various conferences and meetings.
