Job detailsSalary$17.50 - $21 an hourJob TypePart-timeFull Job DescriptionAFC Urgent Care is looking for a Patient Service Representative (PSR)for the front office. The PSR is an entry-level position under the supervision of the Practice Supervisor that performs various procedures associated with routine patient encounters, some duties are as followed:Greeting patients professionally both in person and on the phoneRegistration of patientsDischarging of patientsCollect and verify patient information and insurance coverage.Manage written, verbal and electronic communications.Payment/Copayment collectionMaintenance of patient charts and or electronic health records (EHRs)Requirements6+ months working with the public, experience in a medical setting preferred.Pleasant attitude, a professional appearance, and a willingness to assign high priority to patient comfort and satisfaction.You must demonstrate accuracy, timeliness, attention to detail, and must strive for continuous improvement.Excellent communication skills with the ability to communicate clearly both verbally and in writing.High School Diploma or equivalent required.Excellent customer service skills.Must be willing to work weekends and some afternoon (2-8pm) shifts.
